Sarah Holden

Sarah Holden (she/her) is the Director of HR at Fleet Feet, a running specialty retailer with retail locations across the US. Over the past 8 years at Fleet Feet, Sarah has worked to establish and gain credibility in the HR function. In her current position, Sarah oversees HR Operations, Compliance and the Benefits functions serving over 1500 employees across Fleet Feet. Sarah has helped scale the HR function at Fleet Feet and loves offering employees different programs to foster individual and company growth. In her time at Fleet Feet, the company has grown from ~500 employees to just over 1,500 and she and her team have been able to launch numerous people programs, including Employee Resource Groups, an internal Mentorship Program, Talent Development, and intentional action from Engagement Surveys and much more! Prior to Fleet Feet, Sarah was a Division I Women’s Lacrosse Coach at Brown University and is a graduate and former Division I lacrosse athlete from Syracuse University. Sarah currently lives in the mountains of Western North Carolina with her partner, Zach, and when not pouring her heart into work, she can be found mountain biking, hiking, paddleboarding, meeting up with friends or brewery or laying low with her three cats.
