Laura Puga has served as Tapcheck's Vice President of People since June 2024. She oversees all aspects of the people function including recruiting, people processes, total rewards, culture, and change management. Laura has 18 years of experience in human resources in various industries including chocolate, aerospace, and biotechnology. She also has 7 years of operations experience and supported the launch of Bloom Energy’s Manufacturing Center of Excellence. She held key HR leadership roles in leading life sciences companies experiencing high growth including Illumina and DexCom. Prior to Tapcheck, Laura and her team enabled Telesis Bio’s significant talent growth globally as the company transitioned from a start-up to a public company. Laura Puga earned a B.S. in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University and an M.B.A in Managerial and Organizational Behavior from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
