Chris Lee, loves to challenge perceptions and tilt at windmills. As the Senior Director of Human Capital Solutions for PetSmart, he oversees Compensation, Talent Engagement, and Talent Analytics. His team develops the strategies used to manage a talent portfolio of more than 50,000 associates in over 1,650 stores, 7 distribution centers, 2 corporate offices, and numerous satellite departments across the United States, Canada, China, and Hong Kong. Over the past 18 years, Chris has built a robust knowledge of Total Rewards. And his accomplishments, whether it be his leading role as a benefits negotiator for Honeywell’s Aerospace division or his role in the transaction which made PetSmart a private company, have given him a strong regard for strategy and (maybe) an unconventional view of the role of HR in the broader business. Chris is a proud papa of three amazing children. And each day he stands in awe of his wife of 15 years because she still puts up with his shenanigans.
